I'm not lucky with packages lately. Most of them were delayed in the last couple of weeks. I had to complain to various shipping companies because the drivers all listed the cause of not being able to deliver my package as "nobody home", this while our store was open.
On Monday I ordered a new pair of Crocs. They were send out the same day. The next day, when checking the status of my package on Tuesday morning there was a notice that the depot my package was at had had some problems during the night and part of the packages wouldn't be able to be delivered that day, they would do their best to deliver them on Wednesday. That can happen, no problem. On Wednesday that message had disappeared (so I assume the backlog was cleared). But after the arrival scan of my package at 1.44 am on Tuesday nothing further has happened to my package. Yesterday I email the shipping company, in the automatic reply they only say the will answer as soon as possible. Since they hadn't answered this morning, I also emailed Crocs, often the company paying for the shipping can get things done easier than the person receiving. They will answer between 1 and 3 business days, so no answer from they yet. Meanwhile, we receive several packages a week for my sister and she hardly has any problems. |

Last night I looked at pictures of a woman I once dated and now I'm feeling emptiness... deep sadness. She works a few blocks from the university (where I'm at), but I'll never go and visit her. She's happy and has a family... We ended badly. The deep sadness--I've been feeling for years, I realize now.

Some people you also can't ask anything. The answer will always be: "No time.... have to run...." or: "I don't know..." IMHO, it's a matter of priority. Everybody thinks he's so darn important that HE doesn't have to read and/or follow instructions, or can't be bothered to look stuff up or even understand it.
