Hmmm... I don't own a Nook but my library's web page has some information as does OverDrive's page. See How to transfer eBooks to a NOOK GlowLight Plus for more information.

this covers the Glowlight 3 specifically. Once you have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer, you should be ready to start checking out books through the Overdrive program.

Helps to talk to the the librarians if they don't have a step-by-step on the web page. Different libraries have different ways of managing their e-libraries. My library has had a couple of systems and I was able to download to computer and side load to my Nooks.
