I have a new samsung phone but I cannot get the kindle for samsung app for some reason. I go to the "galaxy apps" app, but when I search for kindle nothing shows up. Does this mean my phone is not eligible, or am I doing something wrong?

Try Google Play - that’s where I got it for my Samsung tablet.

The books don't expire if you get them. It's the offer of the book that does. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks, however the only thing that shows up when I search for Kindle for Samsung is the Kindle app that I already have.

I have a Galaxy Tab 4-7 (2014) with the app installed and I can't find it in the Galaxy App Store either. It looks to be gone. No idea why.

Sorry, my mistake. You're right. I just went to Galaxy Apps on my tablet and the right app did come up, so I can't say why it doesn't show up on your phone.

However, I did find the link below on Amazon, so maybe that will help?

Try manually browsing for it, it doesn't always come up in search results for some unknown reason. (My theory is that Samsung is just kind of crap at designing decent apps.) I see it coming up at #12 in the "Top" section, then on the "Exclusives" section scroll down to the "Made for Samsung" and it's the fourth app in the list.

I went with Tales From the Radiation Age this month.

I can't get the app for my new phone either, I get an error message following some link from a Samsung site. I wasn't going to spend any more time looking, since I can still power up an old phone just to get the book offer.

With old phone (S3, KitKat 4.4) side by side with new phone (J7, Nougat 7.0), the Kindle for Samsung app shows up in the Galaxy store only on the old phone.
Both are signed in.

(I don't recall if this is the site where I got it for myself, but I know had to sideload it; I couldn't find it in the store.)
