Slightly off topic (from MacGyver), why was the A-Team always captured and locked in a fully equipped machine shop - and, for bonus points, how come they couldn't hit a barn door with an M16 assault rifle but were crack shots with custom made cabbage throwers?

That's because they weren't allowed to maim and kill the bad guys. I hated that show.

Ah, yes the not allowed to kill anyone bit. I always enjoyed the helicopter crashing in to the hill, exploding, falling to the ground, exploding again and then 2 people getting out and staggering away.

I could see an argument being made that this was the influence of Banner on the Hulk. He couldn't stop the violence, but he could temper it down.
