Typically the printer alone sells for at least $20 more. The compact inkjet can print, scan and copy, and it supports both AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.

Yea, I know...but strangely i could use two of the three in the bundle just don't know if I should spend the money

We've been wanting a wifi printer and I'll use the Vudu credits, so I took the plunge.

and the duplex printing makes it even more appealing. It's one of the few brands i do like, so i probably will if they're still available when i get home. I'll let time and chance be my will power lol

The reviews look very good on this model.

Most of the Canon PIXMA models are great. I own one, and am happy with it. However, there is at least one model that, for some reason, is a lemon. I don't remember the exact number(s) now, but it/they are around the MG2000 number, I think. I see it/those on lots of deal-of-the-day sites, marked down to very low prices. It seems like Canon and/or some retailers are trying to unload them. Just make sure to check the reviews first before buying one of the PIXMAs. You can probably find out all that you need to know by Googling the model number and "review," and then scanning down the list of hits to see how many (or few) stars the product gets.

Alexander Street is now repeating Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 4 as their classical music free download of the week.

Apparently without admitting that there was any problem when they offered this symphony as a free download a week and a half or so ago, they quietly have fixed the problem. I listened to the entire new fourth movement and did not hear any problem with it.

Here is the download page for the entire symphony. If you downloaded it previously, all that you should need to download now is the last one listed, Sehr Behaglich (Des Knaben Wunderhorn), the fourth movement, in order to have the complete symphony now.

I failed to mention this when I made the initial post: the recording is "performed by the Orchestre National de Lille under the direction of Jean-Claude Casadesus, and featuring soprano Margaret Marshall."

I have duplex printing on an HP printer. Don't need it all the time, but it is so nice to have when I actually need it. Beats the hell out of doing it manually!

Thanks for the note it has been fixed. I had tried it again two days ago and it was still broken at that time.

Did you try the WMA file? I believe it is still the bad (skipping @ 4:00) file.

Oh no, sorry. I just tried the MP3 one. I should have mentioned that.

I downloaded MP3's the other day. There was skipping, popping, etc. on those then. There isn't now. Strange that Alexander Street wouldn't have fixed both the WMA and the MP3. I wonder if the people who brought it to their attention had all been doing MP3's and none had been doing WMA's.

I'm experiencing doubt now. I'm going to check again to make sure that the MP3 isn't still bad. I know that I was listening to movement 4. No news will be good news. I'm going to check right now.

Yes, it seems that the MP3 version has been fixed but the WMA version is still broken (as of about an hour ago).

Yeah. I listened to the MP3 all the way through and it sounded fine. I went ahead and downloaded the WMA to see for myself. Didn't listen to all of it, just went to the area where the skipping and popping was. It's still there, just as you said.

I never listen to WMA anyway, so it doesn't particularly bother me. I just will have to make sure to vet the Alexander Street giveaways (i.e., listen to them) from now on before I post them.

I love Canon. I had a PIXMA MX882, then upgraded to the MX922, which is even better--it has a tray for printable discs, which is a feature I wanted. The only caveat is that the Canon all-in-ones seem to be rather large and heavy. Canon's tech support is excellent, even when you're out of warranty.

Not sure you need to do that, was just wanting confirmation that no one else managed to get a good WMA file, either.
