This happened to me recently too. I called customer support after getting a runaround via e-mail. They kept trying to brush me off, but when it became clear to them that was quite willing to keep arguing, they gave me a 100% off single use coupon.

That coupon also did not work. I decided to call it day at that point.

Yes, completely different. A weekly contest that runs until Nov. with your entry thrown into a ballot. No codes given for replying, just a chance at the main prize draw.

I sure hope this doesn't replace the regular contest [codes]. If it does, my days at shopping at Kobo are over. I've said for a long time that the codes [lower prices] are my only reason to shop there. I guess we'll find out by the 3rd week or end of the month if there's no new contest.

There have been a couple updates recently so make sure you're using the latest Obok. If you've updated and it's still not working, then sign out and back in to Kobo Desktop. Be prepared that doing so will first delete and then redownload all your books. If you have a large library, that can take a while.

Yep. I'd much rather get the occasional good discount than a chance at a trip and without the discounts, Kobo's not the low-cost seller. I think this contest in conjunction with SuperPoints program doesn't bode well, but predicting what Kobo will do is a mug's game.

Thanks a lot for the reminder. I just discovered that there has been some updates. The Obok on my computer has been misbehaving for a while, and now with the suggestions of you guys I am able to get the books into Calibre again.

A few books still wouldn't budge but I haven't got around to work out why they wouldn't.

I haven't tried it yet myself, but the latest Obok works with Kobo devices too. So maybe that way would do the trick.
