I only try the test version if there is something in it that I directly use or if I think I it´s something I will be using.
So I have do admit I don´t try every test version.

A direct download link is in my opinion a good solution.
So that in the second post is always the newest test version for everybody who is searching for it
but equally I can download it from current post without going to the start of the thread.

Yes--the settings from defaults.ini apply if you don't have a different value in personal.ini. Plus the ffnet adapter has a hard coded 4s sleep in addition to the configured value.

I started trying to download stories from http://nha.magical-worlds.us/ into Calibre today and they're not downloading correctly. There were a few stories that did not download the title info, and only one chapter was downloaded on all of the multi-chapter stories. I also have custom columns in Calibre, one of which is for the word count, which isn't filling in either.

This is one that did not download a title, instead labeling it "Unknown": http://nha.magical-worlds.us/viewstory.php?sid=1170

The NBA site has changed their layout. It shouldn't be terribly difficult to fix--I should have time tomorrow.

I've posted a new test version (direct link) that includes an eFiction Base adapter version for http://nha.magical-worlds.us. That turned out to be the quickest way to update it.

Due to AO3 not letting you see stories depending on rating if you're not logged it, FanFicFare has code to log in even for 'get urls' for AO3 pages.

The error message is telling you what's wrong: you don't have your AO3 user/pass set right in that library. personal.ini settings are library specific, so you have to set them in each library you want to use this with.

The 'show_comments' URL is being shown because of cryzed's changes that deliberately take the longest URL for a story. They'll still work, they just look a bit odd.

Okay, that makes so much sense. I checked the personal.ini in my secondary library and saw that the info was correct and didn't think to make sure that the one in my main library was. Did so, and now it's working.

On AO3, if there are multiple series attached to the same story, it only picks up one of them. Can that be adjusted to pick up both of them?

FanFicFare already fetches multiple series. See how defaults.ini records series00, series01, series02, series03.

The problem is what to do with them. You can add them to your titlepage with add_to_titlepage_entries:

add_to_titlepage_entries:,series00,series01,series02,series03,series00Url,series01Url,series02Url,series03Url

But Calibre only allows for one series in it's standard column. For additional series, you'd need to add additional Calibre columns and configure appropriately to populate them.

add_to_custom_columns_settings:
 series01=>#second_series

There is no simple clean answer for this one.
