jimars- Accounts cannot be merged. If you have more than one account, you will have to sign out of the current account on the iPad and sign in under the other account to see those books. An alternative will be to download the books from the new account and side load them to the iPad.

I'm afraid you're quite incorrect. Not only can accounts be merged, it's actually a simple process. You go to the help page (https://kobo.frontlinesvc.com/app/lanpag) and select your country. Under "What category does your issue fall under?" select "Accounts". From the sub-selection select "Library Merge Request". Than be sure to specify which account you want to be your single account, and which you want merged into it. Submit, and it is generally done within 1-2 business days. I had all three of my Kobo accounts merged together.

What happens when the accounts have books purchased in different countries? Some books may be unavailable in other countries.

They still show up for me. I have purchases from Canada, USA, UK, India, Afghanistan, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.

Purple Lady, yep, I can see that would be an issue, especially when different publishers are only available in different countries. Though I assume that 'Purchases' would still show the sale.

Also, it does seem that Kobo would then have a record of all your country hopping, eh ......

It has yet to be an issue for me when dealing with customer service. Hell, last night the supervisor I spoke with called me the "IV for Kobo" for all my sales.

AM I understanding this correctly? I have 5 KOBO accounts. I can request the books from 4 of them to be moved into what I consider to be my main account. These 4 libraries will now be empty, but the accounts still be open?
