Just got three 'books' that I can't find any way to get onto my Paperwhite or HD7. If I had something with a SD slot it wouldn't help, they are just too big. Even the PCMCIA slot on my PC is too small for them. They're twice as big as my Paperwhite.
So I wind up cradling one 'book' in my hand while I read and every once in awhile I have to use my other hand to turn a page. When I want to pause I have to find something to mark my place. ![]() ![]() ![]() So many books, so little time ... Freehunter |

We had a long thread about this not long ago.
I'm reading one at the moment (Lord Edgware Dies by Agatha Christie). It's absolutely fine. At the time it was cheaper than the ebook version. I've also just finished Yendi by Steven Brust, another paper book, this time not available as an ebook. That was also fine. |

Yes! Once and for all books are books, it doesn't matter if they are ebooks, paper books, audiobooks, or on a frickin' papyrus. Just read! The medium doesn't matter!

Yes, books are books. I read books that I borrow from the library when even the ebook version is too expensive for me to buy. I'm also a big fan of a local used book store where I pick up old paperbacks and science fiction magazines that haven't gotten an ebook treatment (and may never get one).

Difficult to prove myself over the internet. I guess I could post a picture of myself learning Gemarah b'chavrusa, but will you deny that it is me? ![]() Hmm, there is of course this year's Purim Shpiel video... |

The last dead tree book that I read was last summer. It was a book that I hadn't read yet and wasn't available as an ebook. Having to use reading glasses definitely distracted me. |
