Looks like the problem is getting an iPad Air 2 to talk (via buttons) to Calibre: I have updated to Yosemite, I hoped it would solve the problem (seemed to work for some people) but I still the same issue: no device detected, no buttons.
So I am still using DropBox to upload my books to my iPad. |

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make the fixed plugin official, in Philantrop's absence?

A moderator would have to replace the attachment in the first post.

Just go to Preferences | Plugins and then select the button "Load plugin from file" and select the ZIP file.

I've installed the plugin from the ZIP file but when I click in the Customize plugin button I get the following error message:
Quote:
EDIT: [SOLVED]: 1. Uninstall both iOS and Marvin plugins 2. Close Marvin 3. Delete these plugins related files located at ~Library/Preferences/calibre 4. Start Marvin, install the Marvin plugin and the iOS plugin from the ZIP file 5. Connect iPad and everything is working ! Last edited by LuCouto; 12-04-2014 at 09:33 AM. |

Working - but still does the cycling through analyzing books every time I add books to my iPad. Interesting.
