Ich stelle es mir auch interessant vor, wenn eine Oma ihrem Enkel ein E-Book schenken will, der das aber dank DRM nicht nutzen kann.
Oder aber thalia macht Sonderangebote, wie z.B. der neue Grass bei uns statt 10 Euro nur 5! Ach ne, geht ja aufgrund Buchpreisbindung nicht ... Bei thalia scheint nur noch die reine Panik zu herrschen ... Last edited by MrReset; 06-14-2012 at 03:41 AM. |

Inwieweit das Ganze Thalia im Endeffekt etwas nützt, ist natürlich die Frage, aber ich halte ihnen zugute, dass sie wenigstens versuchen etwas zu ändern, während der Rest des traditionellen Buchhandels es eher vorzieht, schmollend und nur von Zeit zu Zeit durch Wutanfälle unterbrochen vor sich hin zu sterben. Noch zufriedener wäre ich zwar, wenn Thalia sich vehement für die Abschaffung von DRM stark machen würde, aber das ist eine ganz andere Frage... |

Na ja, ich könnte mir da schon Methoden vorstellen, z.B. mit dem Reader in die Filiale gehen und direkt draufladen, oder komplette Speicherkarten mit Buchpaketen anbieten, Speicher kostet ja heute fast nix mehr

Ich stelle mir gerade meinen kleinen Buchhändler um die Ecke vor (in 5 Jahren): Geschäftsräume ca. 25 qm ohne Buchregale, aber mit drei Buchautomaten (von Thalia oder besser noch von Amazon geleast) zum Kopieren und ner kuscheligen Sitzecke zum Plaudern. In der anderen Ecke gibt es Lese-Hardware zum Ausleihen oder Kaufen.
Ist das der Sinn? |

Nein danke. Dann lieber n haufen Regale mit Speicherkarten mit ebooks in Formaten außerhalb der umzäunten amazon-Reservate in kleinen boxen auf denen buchcover drauf sind |

Ich fürchte (und da bin ich bei Dir), dass der "kleine Buchhändler" in 5 Jahren zu nix mehr pervertiert, weil es ihn dann nicht mehr geben wird.

Es gibt trotz mp3 immer noch verkauf von audio auf Medien. Genau das erhoffe ich mir auch für das geschriebene Wort. Nur geht dies mit drm nicht.
Ich sag ja die ganze Zeit: nicht irgendwelche keys sondern der original Datenträger als Nachweis des rechtmäßigen Besitzes soll es sein. |
