Open Office Conversion Woes Please Help?
Okay. I've been wrestling with this for two days, it should not be this hard!
Using Open Office on my Mac, I have followed instructions at Kinworm and MTE to make an HTML file for Calibre to convert to a Mobi. The headers are as suggested. Pictures inserted as suggested. Chapters have hard breaks at the end. Margins were set at 4x7. Saved as HTML. Yet every time I convert, the text simply wanders off into the distance, indents are only on the first paragraph of a chapter, the page breaks are there, but do nothing, the pages that are supposed to be separated mush together and look awful. Headers split and wander. What am I doing wrong? |
