Touch My one disappointment with the new Nook

I just bought the new Nook, and so far my biggest disappointment...

...is that Oberon isn't making covers for it. Maybe that's a little pathetic, but I really wanted one! And I know they're recommending the sleeve, but I don't like sleeves, I feel like I'll lose them, and it's longer than the Nook by 2".

I have an Oberon cover for my NC and my Sony 950 (actually a Kindle 2 cover). Is it possible that one of their journals might be sized ok for the new Nook? Many people have used Velcro tape to attach their Sony ereaders to an Oberon journal to make a cover.

The new Touch has rounded corners which won't work with their typical strap design. That's why they recommend the sleeve. Maybe if there is enough interest, then they might come up with an alternate design like the Velcro straps.

I felt the same way about M-Edge not making a cover for mine yet! My reader goes in my timbuktu every day, and I really prefer having that nice, tight zip cover.

Just use a small journal. This is what we use for our Sony 650s and it has about the same size as your Kobo. Attach it with some velcro and be another happy camper.
