Development games freeze the eDGe, any fix?

Most of the games I used to play are not running, rather those freeze the eDGe. Need to do power off or reset.

Hello Mehdi, you might try clearing the cache and settings for each game, if you haven't already.

I have already done so, even uninstall reinstalled. This freeze is bit different. The reader screen works okay, if I have opened some book or journal, it keeps on responding but tablet screen becomes totally responseless. No touch no button. Similar freeze occures on fring when i try to make video call. It was making video calls with dingo. Few more apps show similar behaviour.. am I tje only one facing it?

Those apps may be too CPU intensive for the device. I've never been able to use Fring video for that reason.

Just curious -- why would games/Fring work in Dingo but not Ermine if it's the CPU? Does Ermine use more resources than Dingo??

Try a Flash Lite Version if available. Kind of strange that Farm Frenzy doesn't work on the EE because I downloaded the Trial version from the Entourage Store and runs fine on the PE. Flight Frenzy Lite is also available free of charge from the Entourage Store and runs well on the PE. According to the technical specs the EE and PE both have a Marvell Armada PXA168 processor running at 800 MHz. Sometimes newer operating systems tend to slow the machine down but in the case of Ermine most people on this forum have reported an increase in performance over Dingo.

Fring as a chat client worked/works OK, but video calls were a no go before. I haven't tried with the Ermine release since Fring no longer supports Skype.
