You need a physician's salary for that one!
While showing off the PRS recently some of my Doctors and Lawyers friends really showed interest for the size, eink and text capacities. What killed it is no input and mainly no search. This device might cut it. Lawyers being notably stingy, they'll get that price down for us!

Regarding the price... most mobile devices to not even come close to this dollar figure, so I doubt anyone would even consider it (I wouldn't have recommend this device to any of my faculty members when I worked for the Computer Science college, no way). You can pick up a TabletPC that has a larger screen, greater resolution, more usability, and get two for the price of one of these.

Thanks for finding the details, I like how it is rugged enough to withstand a 30-G impact!
