Hi from a wannabe Calibre developer
Hello everyone,
Been an occasional guest/lurker for a while, mainly on the Calibre (eBook library) part of the site.

I've had problems with some PDFs being badly formatted in conversion to ePub. Anyway computers are supposed to do repetitive tasks well, Calibre has something to do with Python and that does stuff with text (think I read that). So I thought perfect, how hard could it be? I've now been a Python/Calibre Developer for about 14 hours (including drinking, sleeping and shopping time).

Gone better than I'd have thought, I created a development environment for Calibre (and done an upgrade to the code that appeared today - trickier than I thought), I've already created the code that strips lots the nasty bits and formats it better, just trying to work out how to slot in to main software at conversion stage.

Apologies in advanced for all the stupid questions I'll be asking in the (hopefully appropriate) forum.
