Never read any Christian Sci Fi (or anything Christian fiction actually), how is this book?

Haven't read it, just picked it up. Did read a few reviews and comments by those who liked it (and hunted down the next two in the series).

I haven't read it either but it has good reviews. Not a lot of good Christian Sci Fi.

Not a lot of bad Christian Sci Fi, either, I'd imagine, as the genre as a whole is pretty small (and mostly post-apocalyptic scenarios).
