Ipad shipping prolems?

I got the e-mail from Apple yesterday with the tracking number of my Ipad, it shipped with UPS, however this morning i got a e-mail from UPS stating that there was a "exception" with my shipment. I called them and apparently Apple forgot to include some paperwork needed, as they are comming directly from China, so there might be a delay, I hope not, if not it is scheduled to b delivered friday by 12:00

There are multiple reports of an exception on the Apple forums but they are still showing Saturday delivery dates.

The exception is most likely a hold for Saturday delivery.

just spoke with apple, and I guess they worked out a deal with UPS and all Ipads are bieng held up to allow for Sat delivery, not before

I had an exception showing on the 500 I was receiving back from Sony. It came on time no problem.

A lot of sites have reported this being a delay across the board intended to eliminate the possibility of any regional office simply not paying attention to the saturday delivery date if they got them sooner.
