Section for content manipulation and issues? POLL

Two MobileReaders have independently messaged me and asked whether we would like to open a fourth iLiad section to discuss content manipulation.

It would be a dedicated section for various topics such as content formatting, conversion, compatibility, typography, book creation, etc.

My only concern is that this section could come to an halt once an easy or working solution has been found.

Since I like to pretend that we're a democracy here

, I want to hear your opinion first before making a decision.

Well, we've got already a general section for formats and conversion, right? But since it's relative quiet there, I assume many people don't find it as useful. Thus it might not be a bad idea to start a new format section for each popular reader (iLiad, Sony Reader, HanLin, ...) since the requirements and given tools are different for each.

So I voted "Yes".

Could you put a link to the general format forum in the iLiad forum (so that it looks like a sub-forum)? Then, if usage tapers off you can just pull the link. Of course that would probably mean putting an iLiad specific section in the formatting forum ... Hmmm....

The link could be to TadW's suggested "format section for each popular reader" maybe.

I vote "yes" - I'd go the other way .. have a separate section to start ... then as or if it tails off combine the content with the general section and create a sticky link FAQ in the Iliad section ...
