PRS-505 Transfer/memory card problems!

Hi! All of a sudden I'm having trouble with my 505. I have 2 different SD cards: a 2GB regular and a 4GB SDHC. With the SD card, all of a sudden I can't transfer files using the Sony software. The status shows 'processing' but sticks there for more than 5 minutes. (I usually get annoyed and cancel the transfer.) But if I switch to the SDHC card, when I try to open a new book on the reader, it restarts on it's own, and I have to wait through the whole restart process. There is a mixture of file types, but most show up as BBeBs that I converted with calibre. Does anyone have any thoughts on either problem?
