PRS-600 Using iMate JASJAR AC Adaptor with 600?

I have an AC adaptor from my iMate Jasjar mobile phone (the mini-clamshell tilty swivelly model) and it is a mini-usb charger. Given that this is USB, does anyone think it would be safe to use with the Sony Reader Touch?

You won't break anything by using it, but it won't charge.

Oh dear. I figured USB was USB! I guess Sony just like to reinvent stuff.

Just to fully close this wee thread, I notice from another thread that a PSP charger works. Which is handy.
