Got My 600 Today

I got my 600 today. The screen clarity is not as good as the 505, but the contrast is better than my 700. The page turns are faster and the touch screen is actually touch sensitive. It seemed with my 700 that I really had to press it sometimes or tap it to get it to respond. The 600 seems much more responsive. For this reason I can hold it with eather hand and just barely swipe the screen and it will change. I think all these features make it a pleasure to use. For me, these improved features, in addition to the dictionary and hand writing recognition, will make up for the increased reflection. Anyway, gotta go and read!

Hand writing recognition? Did I miss something? Or are you just mislabeling the feature?

yes you missed some very important features! It also has voice recognition... didn't you know?

You can write on it. That is one of the main features of the touch screen. If one uses their finger or stylus, the touch screen will recieve that and the unit recognizes the action as a command and allows one to enter notes or draw. If you have a 600 or have been reading the forums you should be aware of this feature. No, it does not have voice recognition. It only recognizes the pressure of a finger or stylus on the screen. Hmmm... some people!
