Help porting for beginners

Hi

I try to port Gweled, a small game. I am a absolute beginner. So maybe with a little help the steps could be made clearer for others too. (If it is not too difficult).

1) I installed vmware and the image provided by Adam here.

1) I import the gweled source in ajunta. (Dropped the directory on the ubuntu vmware desktop and choose new --> project from existing source, give the path)

2) Build --> run autogenerate.

3) Copy the whole folder back on the dr1000.

It has now a Gweled.desktop file but it doesnt work....

Is it completely wrong? I would be glad for help

Hi Gogolo,

Did you already have a look here where I posted some info on porting applications to the DR?

Did you try to run the application on the emulator? When running it form a command-shell you get some more info on libraries that are missing etc.
