I'd like to open a pdf from a bash script run.sh
In the pdf folder there is the corresponding manifest.xml Is it possible to "launch" the manifest.xml? |

No, the manifest.xml is a XML file with info about the file, like the title, last page readed, orientation, etc...
The pdf reader is ipdf, the command ipdf [pdf_name] sould open the document, I never try my self. But, it seams that ipdf will not recive the buttons signals, see this thread https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34292 |

I thought I could use something like "contentLister manifest.xml", but it didn't work.

Shell script can be executed from manifest.xml by adding a line in manifest.xml (after "<y-metadata>"):
<startpage>run.sh</startpage> If you open pdf from shell script (using ipdf), you may encounter some problem as described by Max. |
