I bought mine about two weeks ago. I called and they credited the $60 back to my credit card (actually it will take 2-3 days) but my refund went through and I got notification. No problems, no questions, no threats of sending it back. I just asked if they offered price protection and he rung up my credit. Even though they don't officially have a price protection policy anymore I think they realize people will just return them and buy them again, costing them extra money.
