New Calibre version problem.

Hello

The new version of Calibre (0.4.140) won't find my PRS700BC. I went back to version 0.4.139 and it works well. I only upgraded because every now and then 0.4.139 crashed after converting a book to lrf. Any Help

I'm using 0.4.140 with a Sony 700. I'm not experiencing the problem you describe.

Did you first remove the old version? I'm wondering if since I installed over the old version that that caused my problem.

Nope. I just did the install over the old one like normal. I presume you've tried all the normal troubleshooting ideas (reboot, reinstall, different cable)?

Well I'm embarrased. Re-boot fixed the problem. Thanks for pointing out most obvious answer. My computer stays on 24/7 so I don't reboot very often.
