Is Calibre affected by Emudhra incident?
Since I hear Calibre uses Python.

calibre isn't a browser you dont connect to arbitrary websites with it. And in any case it does not use certifi or pip or uv at runtime only build time. It does use a certificate bundle from mozilla on some OSes and that is updated on every calibre release, so the next release will not include the emudhra certificates.

I'm not totally familiar with the situation, but either way, there's no harm in making sure calibre is building with the patched python version: https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre/pull/3400
