Hello - I’m Matthew

Hello, I’m Matthew.

A little about me, I recently joined this forum group, ultimately due to my obsessions with e-readers. Can’t beat a good e-ink screen. I convinced a least a dozen “real books” only peeps to get a kindle or a kobo, including my wife (side loading legally obtained epubs). I’m just started dabbling in creating Calibre plugins to address my workflow issues, having a great time really.

I’m really digging the community, everyone seems really helpful. The site is a real throwback to the old internet days. Fun times

Welcome to Mobileread.

And thank you for actually writing an Introduction!

This is such a rarity nowadays that I wonder if our educational system is at fault. (I am a retired educator.) Or an inability to read?

But regardless: THANK YOU!

Have fun here at Mobileead.

Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully a place like this attracts people with the ability to read :P

What did you teach before you retired?
