Pocketbook Inkpad Color 3 frozen
As described in title, left it on charger and when i got back home it was stuck on home page with full charge battery view so i assume it froze after the charge was completed.
I tried 10 secs power button, 30 secs power button press. I did these connected to the wall charger and not connected to the wall charger. Also tried 30 secs connected to the pc and nothing. Pc does not recognize it and no light on the device when i plug the charger. Is there anything i can do or does this sound like its bricked and need to contact warranty? Does sound like it may be kaput.
Ideally try a few different cables on wall-plug and PC. My device works intermittently on some cables where other devices have no problem. After holding for 30 secs, did you then try waiting for 3-5 secs and giving the power button a quick press and release? Try holding for longer also... maybe 60 secs. Does it even respond to the FW update button press? Hold both page-back and page-forward down, then quick press of power, keeping holding back and forward until menu appears. My very old Pocketbook had these exact symptoms at some point. It wouldn't turn on and nothing happened when I connected it to a laptop or to a wall charger. I put it in a drawer.
Two years later I wanted to recycle it so I tried turning it on just to double-check that it's truly dead. I connected it to a laptop... and the device actually turned on but its battery was in a very poor shape. It looks like something went wrong with the battery and letting it fully discharge has "fixed" it. Luckily I was able to buy a replacement battery at Subtel, as a bonus, the device's clock now works again after being broken for years. TL;DR: try replacing your battery.
