Bypass language selection screen with no touch

I recently bought Kobo Aura E2 with non working touch screen. After charging it and performing hard reset, updating system, touch worked once again, i was able to connect to wifi and register device. Then after leaving it overnight to charge, touch stopped working.

Now after performing another hard reset i'm stuck at language selection screen. Adding

PHP Code:
[ApplicationPreferences]
EarliestChangeLog=4.4.9298
SideloadedMode
=true
firstRunDate
=@Variant(\0\0\0\x10\0%\x8e\x86\0N\xf1\x41\x2)
lastPlugTime=@Variant(\0\0\0\x10\0%yx\0\x15\xe0\x46\x2)

[
DeveloperSettings]
AutoUsbGadget=true
doesn't let me mount device in Linux. Should it? Can i edit something on sd-card to bypass language selection screen? I would like to troubleshoot touch screen problems, and if it's not possible to fix, then try do something interesting with device as it's Linux based.

Code:
[ApplicationPreferences]
CurrentDemoRegion=
CurrentLocale=en_US
EarliestChangeLog=4.4.9298
HomePageViewVisitCount=6
LongPressDialogShown=true
QuickTourWidgetShown=true
QuickTourWidgetShownCount=8
RefresherDialogShown=true
SideloadedMode=true
firstRunDate=@Variant(\0\0\0\x10\0%\x8e\x86\0N\xf1\x41\x2)
lastPlugTime=@Variant(\0\0\0\x10\0%yx\0<5\xa7\x2)

[DeveloperSettings]
AutoUsbGadget=true
EnableDebugServices=true

But even if you get it to connect to the USB, without the touchscreen working, you won't be able to select any books.

Yes, but i want to be able to connect to device anyhow to try troubleshoot it more. Tried also manually setting wifi connection via wpa-supplicant.conf but it show connected wifi icon for a brief moment, and then disconnects.

Edit: Touch worked again for a moment, but only in upper section of the screen, now it's gone again.

Yes, but would like to connect to device anyhow to troubleshoot more, by getting some Linux commands to work. Tried adding wifi connection via wpa_supplicant.conf, but it shows connected icon for a brief moment, and then disconnects.

Also touch started working for a moment, only in upper section of the screen but now is gone again.

Have you opened the Kobo to see if the connection is loose?

Yes, I tried to adjust touch ribbon several times, also wiped screen and edges with IPA to remove any dirt, but it didn't help either.
