Accessing chapters in the converted book
Kindle (basic compact, Jan 2024). This is a frequent problem I've yet to understand how to solve, if it can be. I have a converted e-book (epub->mobi) that in Calibre (View) shows a Table of Contents with chapter links that respond. In the Kindle, however, while the full TOC with links is at the beginning of the book, 1) only Chapter 1's link responds, and 2) within the book, when I open the Contents symbol, the chapters do not show, only Beginning, Page or Location...End. Is there a way to get the other chapter links active in the TOC and, most importantly, to show under the Contents symbol? Thanks,
