Can't access dictionary

Every time I try to look up a word in the dictionary I get the CAPTCHA. And every time I try to "solve" the CAPTCHA it just gives me another one. I (rude word) hate CAPTCHA because I can never figure out how many pixels count toward "select this tile". And why should I have to do this every time I want to look up a word?

How do I slay this foul beast?

With a little help from ChatGPT I have added a few more dictionary soures. Everything is working now CAPTCHA free. Thanks.

Use a different dictionary service. Sadly we have no control over what upstream dictionary services choose to do. Which dictionary service are you using?

Perhaps you are on a VPN, and the dictionary service thinks too many people are making requests from that shared VPN IP address?

I'm not using VPN. The service I am using is the default from when I installed calibre. Can you suggest an alternate?

There are three builtin ones try one of the others.
