Forma and Gil Sans font
I'm trying my old Forma. It is on firmware 4.38.23697.
I pick Gil Sans from the reading options, but the font when reading isn't using Gil Sans; it is using some serif font. This also seems to happen with Malabar. Anyone else having this problem. I haven't side loaded don't have Gil Sans (or Malabar) in my font folder. |

This was happening on a previous firmware also. I updated the firmware yesterday. And I've rebooted.
It looks like both the Gil Sans and Malabar (maybe others) are defaulting to whatever the "publisher defaults" font is. Wasn't Gil Sans removed from firmware a while back? |

I've seen a similar issue where the ePub CSS specified a serif font and would not switch to a sans-serif font.

It happens for both epub and kepub. Also, in the Advanced window, it does use the Gil Sans font for the After display. No patches used. |

I just sideloaded Gils Sans, and it is now being used. Interestingly, Gil Sans shows in the middle of the font list, whereas sideloaded fonts usually show up at the end of the font list.
