[Plugin] Merchant - a turn-based trading game for KOReader

Using AI, I created a small plugin called Merchant — a turn-based trading game for KOReader. Buy low, sell high across six trading posts, fend off raiders, and pay off the moneylender before your 30 days run out. Simple numbers game, but it scratches an itch on an e-reader.

Themes — same rules, four settings to pick from (Tools → Merchant → Theme):

• Silk Road caravan (default)
• Star trader
• Clipper captain
• Antique dealer

How it plays

• Buy/sell goods — prices shift daily and vary by trading post
• Travel between posts (costs a day, may trigger random events)
• Borrow from or pay down the moneylender (debt grows 10%/day)
• Bank your cash for 5%/day interest
• Watch your carrying capacity and health — raiders may attack, fight or flee
• After 30 days your net worth (cash + bank − debt) is scored against your best run for that theme
• Progress saves automatically, so you can put it down and come back

Also works with a gesture — it registers an "Open merchant game" action you can bind under Settings → Taps and gestures → Gesture manager.

Languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish (follows KOReader's UI language).

Install: drop the merchant.koplugin folder into KOReader's plugins directory and restart.
