Just found an old gift card to B & N

My old Nook books were put on Calibre a long time ago, so now I have forgotten what to do. I found an old B & N gift card has almost $40 on it, so I might as well spend it. I entered it on the B&N website and to my surprise, it had not expired! Free books!

The only e-reader I have now is a Kobo. My Nooks no longer work.

Can I still get Nook books on Calibre and put them on my Kobo to read?

If you can still install the no-longer-supported/offered B&N windows app or have a rooted Android tablet, you might be able to get the Nook books onto Calibre.

I would say no you can't liberate nook books. The chances of finding the old Windows nook app is slim to none. I've lookd and all the links I've found led back to no longer available Windows app.

If you can get the old Nook for Windows app to install in Windows 11, it still works. I have been able to get my BN books into Calibre. However, the app is not offered in the Windows store. Someone here posted a link and instructions to use Windows 11, but I cannot find that post now. It is a bit of a pain but you can get it to work.
