Question about Stats

I plan to use justRead only to read books (and not to manage them, etc etc). Meaning, I'll import books, read them, and then delete them. Will deleting books affect my stats? Also, is there a way to clear the stats and start afresh?

(And will deleting books affect the highlights I already sent to Readwise? Meaning, will I lose the highlights I already exported to Readwise if the book is no longer available in justRead?)

Hi, deleting books does not affect stats. Those are calculated and stored separately. So even if you totally delete all books and delete the app and install it fresh, it will, on first start, load everything from your iCloud storage.

That is true for everything: highlights, notes, progress, bookmarks, etc.
So if you delete a book that has highlights, those are not deleted. And when you add the book again, the highlights will appear again. There is one catch: the file has to be the same and in the same location (meaning... the same book stored in location A for the first time and then in location B for the second time... those are treated as two different books).

No way to clear the stats, but very good idea, how the hell I missed this :-) Going to 3.2 todo list.
