Question about header/footer
'Pages in chapter' and 'position in chapter' is available for chapter, but only position for book. Is there a reason 'pages in book' its not added?

Perhaps that for a reflowable format with variable font size, margins, line heights, etc., the concept of pages in a book is much like arguing about how many angels can dance a saraband on the point of a pin? You can use the pages in paper edition with total if your ebook contains that metadata.

Because pages in chapter counts the number of actual rendered screens, a number not available for the whole book without prerendering it.

I learned to set cold type in High School. We only had even numbered sizes: 8,10,12,16,18, 24pt. None of ths fractional out 5 places stuff
Can you imagine how many type cases you would need just for a single face?
