Windows: Libraries and jumplists

Windows lets you drag a file to the taskbar, which adds it to the associated application's jumplist. When I tried this with Calibre, it added metadata.db to the library

Is there a way to accomplish it?

What did you drag?

Was it a library folder?

What did you see before you dropped it? I see this with a text file.

That's Windows 10, calibre 9.4. I can well believe Windows 11 would be different.

I never thought this is possible but it works for me.

What is the use case?

I dragged the metadata.db - I try the folder

EDIT: It tried to add every book in my library

I wanted to directly open a library instead of opening Calibre and switching inside

Create a shortcut with something like this in the Target:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre.exe" --with-library "D:\Calibre\Libraries\Books"
I have one for each of my libraries in the Send to folder

That works. Of course now I have four in my start menu (calibre, calibre-development, and my two libraries), lol
