PSA: Nasty bug has popped up
Today I noticed on my Scribe Colorsoft I can no longer write on PDFs. I get Storage Full error (18+ GB free). Also cannot highlight or write on amazon purchased ebooks either. A lot of people reporting same on reddit and at least one person says they cannot highlight highlight on their regular colorsoft either. I have tried it on my kindle colorsoft and I get the error 'storage full' there as well.

Amazon live chat has said they are aware of it and working on it.

Something is busted with the annotation feature.

I’ve had a storage full message pop up on my Paperwhite 12th gen. Lost of reports on the FB groups I am on. It’s not just the Scribe. Strangely I could download an ebook after the message went away.

You can download because the 'storage full' message is bogus.

This 'no doubt' has something to do with rollout of the 'AI' features, 'Always Interfering' in this case.

I turned off WiFi and re-applied the (5.19.2) update, and everything works as expected.

Then turned it on and let it sync. Still working. So perhaps this is a workaround.

Someone on Reddit states that 'hard reset' worked for them (hold power button down until it boots), where it didn't work earlier. Maybe just menu Restart works too now.

Or most likely Amazon fixed it somehow.
