DJVU on Irex Digital Reader?

I could not find a port of the DJVU reader on DR1000*. And I do not want to convert my files.
Is anyone reading DJVU files on the reader?

Thanks

I think that you can't see djvus at this moment maybe in a future FBReader update.

Whopper is correct. I expect a DJVU viewer to be implemented at some stage but for now the only option is converting to PDF. That usually takes me a few minutes and with Adobe Acrobat's ClearScan the files are not much bigger than the original DJVU file (and look great). The resulting PDFs can be a little slow but I'm not sure whether viewing the DJVU files directly would be any faster.

FBReader will never show DJVU, because it is totally different from all formats FBReader was designed for. The only viable candidate for a DJVU viewer for DR1000 is evince. It has a port to Nokia N800/810, which proves that it can be built without full set of Gnome libraries. However the nokia port is "hildonized" which is not suitable for the reader.

I tried to build several versions of evince, but I got stuck with the requirement for gnome-doc-utils. Anybody capable of making it build for irex?

What about this: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34218
Maybe that can be ported to the DR?

It is a qt application. I read somewhere, that the DR screen refreshes are only triggered by specific events of GTK GUI libs. It probably means that djview window will be invisible, or fail to redraw even if it compiles and runs on DR1000. Besides qt is rather heavy (eats memory) and redundant for DR1000 as a small embedded platform.
