Current page as boot/start logo in Pocketbook

Hi guys
I'm using Pocketbook Verse Pro with KOReader as default app. I managed to configure a book cover as a boot up/start logo thanks to the guides found here. Is it possible to configure last/current page from KOReader as the logo? This would greatly speed up reading process for my PB.

I had the idea to make a plugin for this. However, I got stuck already at the preparatory stage. I couldn't figure out what mechanism PocketBook uses to save the current page. The files on the reader don't contain any screenshots of the page or anything similar. Maybe someone smarter than me can figure it out.

There's already a plugin that saves the cover image to a file on PocketBook if you enable it in Screen → Cover image. Maybe it already does what you want?

I'm aware about the plugin and as I already mentioned I'm using it for the book covers. The problem I have with Pocketbook it drains battery (5%) when not used. The solution for that issue is to turn off the device, but it takes 22s before I can start reading (boot up), so I wanted to shorten the time by displaying the page instead a cover during startup. It's possible when using built in reader, but I'm using KOReader.

If it already works for the cover that's surely a good starting point for reuerendo.
