Polyglot Cleanup
Hello Kovid,
I'm actualy working on a "polyglot cleanup". I don't work on the lib itself, but rather to remove any reference by using direct native function that the lib original wrap and that don't not longer needed now. Of course, the cross version shareed code, like store and metadata sources will be not affected Additionaly, it not a full cleanup, I will only target if their is a safe and easy 1:1 convertion in a first time. Any thoughts on it? EDIT: Damn it, I should have called this "polyglot cleanup", rather than "refatoring". Last edited by un_pogaz; Yesterday at 06:10 PM. |

Sure, go ahead. polyglot was always meant to be a temporary thing to ease the transition to py3. I have never had the time to clean it up however. Removing uses of it in calibre code (other than recipes/metadata sources/get books store plugins) is fine.
