koreader, mac calibre -- can't connect
Hi all.
- running latest calibre on my mac. it's up and the server for sharing over the net is enabled. default port. - koreader on a kobo, manually input the IP of my computer and the port. - click connect: get handshake error The mac isn't running a firewall and they are both on the same local network, but it's not working. Has anyone solved this? |

MacOS likes to block access to network traffic on a per-application basis. If you have not already added the sharing server as explicitly allowed to access devices on your local network, in your System Settings > Privacy & Security, perhaps that is the problem?
