US / China tariffs effect on US Onyx sales

I see that the US Onyx Boox site has the following banner at the top.

I was thinking about buying a BOOX Go 7 on Amazon a couple of hours ago $229. Decided to get a Kobo instead. Just checked back & the Go 7 is now $269. Smoke’em if you got ‘em.

There has just been made exceptions on these tariffs on "smart phones and computers".

The GoCo7 is listed now on the European website as 279 €.
I don't know what it was before.

Generally??? the Euro prices have been USD + 10 = Euros.
The Go6 is still $159 or 169 €.

It's been a while since the USD was close to the Euro.
Recently the USD has taken a dive against the Euro.
