cover not fullscreen

Hi, hope someone can help, when opening a book, the cover image is never in fullscreen, I have to longpress in order for the image to get big, also when using the cover as sleep screen, there, it is fullscreen, the image resolution is bigger than the kindle resolution (I checked). How can I make it fill the screen automatically?

I'm using the latest koreader in a kindle paperwhite 3

the fix I found was to edit the book, find the cover page and replace (if it has it) preserveAspectRatio="none" with preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet", or put the second one

No idea why you're not getting full screen image on sleep screen. I've never had any problems there, but I do get small covers on opening books. Sometimes the problem is with how ebook is formatted, but native readers tend to override any settings and always show cover in full screen when opening books. I've found no ideal solution for Koreader, so I've learned to live with it. If I want to see the full screen cover I just turn the device off.
