Where is the "add to library" option?

I have a azw ebook that I added to Calibre, but Calibre says it is not in my library. I used to be able to right-click to add the book to the library but now I don't see that option.

How is adding the book to the library different than seeing the book listed in my Calibre library?

I'm not entirely sure I understand you, but I can help with the add-to-library option:

Preferences (Ctrl+P if you can't find it in your toolbar) > Toolbars and Menus. you can change all the toolbars and menus there.

do you have a VL or other filter in effect? That will cause a Not Found (in current view)

the status line at the bottom will have an extra value section [total] when a VL is in use
