Annotations in Calibre Ebook Viewer

I can't find help regarding how to add notes to books that I'm reading in Calibre Ebook viewer. Can someone tell me how to do this?

That's because you can't. There is a bookmarks function. You can use a long name the the bookmark, but it isn't the same.

A full annotation function is being developed. It should be in calibre version 5 later in the year.
