Calibre/macos 4.5 issues with ebook-viewer
This error has been persisting for a few version and is still present in 4.5

Code:
$ ebook-viewer somebook.epub
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "cocoa" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

fish: 'ebook-viewer Robert\ B.\ Cialdi…' terminated by signal SIGABRT (Abort)
Calibre works as expected, and opening ebook-viewer from within Calibre works as expected.

ah yes, so there's an issue with the symlink ? is there anyway to fix this ?

Adjust the symlink, or just add /Applications/calibre.app/Contents/MacOS/ to PATH

How does one adjust a symlink ? It's just a symlink. I did add that to PATH ( I had it appended instead of prepended to my PATH before )

This works very well, thank you. I'm asking because it seems the real fix would be that the symlink should work.

You use the ln command in Terminal.app a bit of googling for how to create symlinks should give you the needed info

lrwxr-xr-x 1 daniel admin 53 Dec  3 16:25 /usr/local/bin/ebook-viewer -> /Applications/calibre.app/Contents/MacOS/ebook-viewer
which is originally the one which gave the error.
