Missing metadata.opf Files After Move

Hello all.

I need to move my Calibre library to a new computer. I followed the steps for moving the library here:

The move seems to have worked fine, but I noticed that the new library folders do not contain the metadata.opf file for each book like the old folders do.

I just wanted to check that this was normal before I get rid of the old library with the metadata files.

Click the Library Icon: Library Maintenance: Library Backup Status

If it shows non-zero AND it is slowly counting down

This implies, that you did not do a simple Library move as outlined in the FAQ (or you needed to rebuild a damaged DB).
