Widows and Orphans on Kindle
I searched but couldn't find a thread about this - am I the only one who thinks Kindle firmware (2015 PW in my case) could/should be enhanced with an option to clean these up when rendering pages?

If you can strip the DRM, you can use Calibre's eBook editor to add in...
Code:
body {
widows: 1;
orphans: 1;
}

Thanks - good to know, but I mostly read borrowed public library books. But does that mean some publishers do include that code, and the Kindle respects it? Maybe I'm just reading the wrong books?

It's widows: 2 and orphans: 2, if you want to avoid them.
But it doesn't matter; the Kindle ignores them… |
